Overview • China is the world’s biggest automotive market, with 28M vehicles sold in 2018.
• The Chinese government and carmakers are pushing for the development of lightweight solutions for vehicles
in order to reduce their environmental footprint.
• China Composites Expo attracts each year more than 3 000 attendees from the Automotive Industry.
• The three first editions (2017-2018-2019) of Automotive Composites Innovation Platform were outstanding successes
with 6 flagships and 60 innovative applications displayed on the Pole, each year a full day of high-level conferences, and an online platform visited by hundreds of users each day, on and after the event. • The Chinese auto industry has shown great interest and all its players look forward to the 2020 edition (2-4 September 2020).
