The Citroën/DS Product Plan (2020-2023)
The Citroën and DS 2020-2023 product plan has been made public. It should make the range of the two automakers, which have suffered from the elimination of the Citroën C4 and C5, as well as the DS 4 and DS 5, without immediate descendants, more coherent. Thus, Citroën will see the reappearance of new C4 and C5 cars in 2020 and 2021 respectively.

At the same time, the C4 will replace the C4 Cactus, which will cease production in 2020.

The year 2020 will also be marked by the restyling of the C3 and the launch of the electric versions of the Jumpy, DS 3 and DS 7.

A top-of-the-range DS 8 sedan could be launched the same year on the Peugeot 508 platform.

In 2021, apart from the launch of the new C5, the 100% electric version of the Berlingo will appear, at the same time as the electric versions of the Peugeot Partner and Opel Combo. Also planned is the launch of the new DS 4 and DS 4 Crossback, which will finally succeed the first generation DS 4 and DS 4 Crossback.

In 2022, a simple restyling of the C5 Aircross is planned at Citroën and nothing at DS.

The year 2023 will be more fertile in terms of new features, as the new generations of the Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross are expected, as well as a 100% electric version of the C3, of which the current generation is deprived, due to an inadequate platform.

In the same year, the DS brand should launch a DS 8 Crossback (or DS 9 Crossback) to crown its range, which will then be  composed of the DS 3 Crossback, DS 4, DS 4 Crossback, DS 7 Crossback and DS 8.
