Context
- The Fang Cheng Bao brand (one of BYD's luxury subsidiaries), which sold 228,000 cars in 2025, currently only offers SUVs. It has therefore planned the launch of a sedan to expand its range, and this electric car, named Mei 7, is expected to be unveiled at the 2026 Beijing Motor Show.
- Blade battery and fast-charging technology, offering a charging experience comparable to refueling a petrol car.
- The vehicle could be equipped with a three-motor system delivering a maximum output of nearly 1,000 horsepower, coupled with the intelligent magnetorheological body control system DiSus -M, as previously reported by some Chinese media.
- The brand will also be showcasing models like the Tai 7 Edition SUV with fast charging.
