The Ford F-Series remains the best-selling vehicle in the USA in 2025
- In a US market for passenger cars (sedans, coupes, SUVs and minivans) and pickup trucks that represented 16.2 million units in 2025, an increase of 1.7% compared to 2024, the Ford F-Series pickup truck remained the best-selling vehicle in 2025 , with 769,000 units compared to 736,000 in 2024. The Ford F-Series has held this leading position in the US market since 1981.
 
- Its long-standing and eternal rival, the Chevrolet Silverado , retains second place in 2025, with 580,000 units compared to 550,000 in 2024. The other long-standing rival, the Ram pickup (formerly Dodge Ram), lost its third place in the US market in 2024, to the benefit of the two very popular Japanese SUVs, the Toyota RAV4 and the Honda CRV.
 
- The Toyota RAV4 reaches 479,000 sales in 2025 compared to 475,000 in 2024, ahead of the Honda CRV which does not exceed 404,000 units in 2025 compared to 403,000 in 2024 and the Ram pickup which does not exceed 374,000 units in 2025 compared to 370,000 in 2024.
 
- As in most international markets, the Tesla Model Y (in sixth position) is expected to decline quite sharply in 2025 , to 358,000 sales compared to 406,000 in 2024. It is the only model in the Top 15 to be 100% electric.
 
- Silverado 's twin brother , the GMC Sierra, achieves 356,000 sales in 2025 compared to 325,000 in 2024. The GMC Sierra pickup precedes the Chevrolet Equinox , the leading American SUV and competitor to the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CRV, which achieves 332,000 sales in 2025 compared to 237,000 in 2024, registering the strongest growth in the Top 15.
 
- In ninth position, the best-selling sedan in the USA, the Toyota Camry achieves 316,000 sales in 2025 compared to 310,000 in 2024, and which surpasses its little sister the Toyota Corolla (248,000 sales in 2025 compared to 222,000 in 2024).
