Paris Motorshow 2026: The electric Alpine A110 will be present
- The Alpine A110 coupé, launched in 2017, was a tribute to the iconic Alpine A110 of the 1970s. This gasoline-powered model, whose production ceased in June 2026, sold 30,000 units in total, a respectable figure for its class. The next generation of the Alpine A110, expected to be unveiled at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, will be fully electric.

- It will be heavier and more expensive than the petrol-powered A110 that has just been discontinued. It will be a prime competitor for the future Porsche Boxster and Cayman, which will also be equipped with a fully electric motor.

- But the future electric Alpine A110 will no longer be the only model in the brand's catalogue, since for two years the carmaker's range has expanded to include the A290, which is a sportier version of the electric Renault 5 E-Tech, and the A390, which is an electric crossover rivaling the electric Porsche Macan.

- It is clear that the largest sales volumes will be on the A290 and not on the electric A110 which will remain an image model, like the old A110 with a combustion engine.
