The Brazilian market increased by 21.8% in October
- The Brazilian market (passenger cars, vans, trucks and buses) increased by 21.8% in October 2012 compared to October 2011, to 341,700 units, bringing the volume for the first ten months of the year 3 1 million units, up 5.7%, indicates Fenabrave (dealers Association).
- Only for cars and light trucks, sales rose 23.9% in October 2012/October 2011 at 326,900 units and 7.3% in ten months. Truck sales fell 9.5% in October 2012/October 2011, 12,500 units, and those buses fell 25% to 2,200 units.
- For the full year 2012, Fenabrave expects an increase in sales of cars and light trucks between 4 and 5%(sales of trucks before however reduced by 15 to 20%).
