VW will produce 600 000 vehicles in 2012 at its Puebla plant (Mexico)
- Volkswagen stated that its Puebla plant in Mexico had produced 510,000 vehicles since the beginning of the year, surpassing the record
volume of 510,000 units recorded in the whole of 2011.
- For the year 2012, the production on the Puebla site is expected to amount to 600,000 units, a new record for the manufacturer.
This is one of the most productive plants in the world. The output of the VW Wolfsburg pilot site is 800,000 vehicles per year.
