KIA will produce 285 000 vehicles in Slovakia in 2012
- Kia has announced that its site Zilina has produced this year more than 253,000 cars, already exceeding the record volume of
252,252 units recorded last year.
- 30 000 vehicles were produced in the Slovak plant during the month of October (+35% versus the same month last year), which
represents the best monthly performance since the site opened in 2006.
- Kia plans to produce 285,000 vehicles in Zilina throughout this year, approaching the maximum capacity of the factory set at
300,000 units.
- The plant produces three models: Kia Cee'd (sedan, wagon, coupe), the Kia Sportage and Hyundai iX35.
