Launches from the 2015 New York Auto Show
- The 2015 edition of the New York Auto Show introduced fifteen completely new models.
- Of these 13 new models, 4 were American, 6 were Japanese , 2 were European and 1 was Korean.
- All of these new vehicles have the US as there target market, although 5 models will be manufactured outside the United States (Chevrolet Spark, Infiniti QX50, Jaguar XF, Scion iA and iM). The Chevrolet Spark will be manufactured in Korea, the Infiniti QX50 in Japan, the Jaguar XF in England, the Scion iA will be manufactured in Mexico at the Mazda plant and the Scion iM in the UK at the Toyota plant.
- Of these 13 new models, only one is a concept car that will give birth to a Lincoln sedan from segment F, a competitor to the new Cadillac CT6 presented at the same show.
- Among the 13 new products, the most represented segments were the segments E (5 products) and D (3 new), followed by segments F (2 products), A (1 new), B (1 new) and C (1 new ).
- Finally, among the 13 new models, 9 are sedans and 4 were SUVs. All these models will be launched in the second half of 2015 or the first half of 2016, except for Lincoln.
