Paris Motor Show 2018: Mercedes EQC
- The 100% electric Mercedes EQC takes the form of a D segment SUV of dimensions close to those of the GLC (4.70m long) thermal engine version.
- The Mercedes EQC enters into direct competition with the Electric BMW X3 whose production has started and the Audi Q6 E-Tron. It also competes with the Jaguar I-Pace and the Tesla Model X.
- The Mercedes EQC will be on the market as of 2019 and will be manufactured in the German factory in Bremen (alongside the Mercedes C-Class and GLC) and in the Chinese factory in Beijing, owned by China’s BAIC.
- The Mercedes EQC has a range of 400km with an electric motor with a power of 400ch (300kW).
- Inovev expects production in Europe, to increase from 10,000 units in 2020 to 25,000 in 2023.
