Audi to launch Q4 E-Tron and E-Tron GT in 2021
- Audi, now a 100% subsidiary of the Volkswagen group, was the brand on which future electric range was not yet cleared, especially because the group's program did not officially include Volkswagen ID3 and ID4 derivatives for this brand as it was announced for Seat and Skoda.
- We know a little more about the future electric range of the Audi brand, because after the BEV E-Tron (E-segment SUV available in standard version and in coupe version called "Sportback"), the carmaker has announced the launch in 2021 of a BEV C-segment (or D-segment) SUV called Q4 E-Tron, which will be also available in standard version and in a “Sportback” coupe version. The price of these vehicles will approach 60,000 euros.
- The second electric model announced by Audi in 2021 is called the E-Tron GT. This model belongs to the segment of an Audi A7 (segment E) and is based on the platform of the Porsche Taycan. The E-Tron GT would be available as a standard and Avant version, meaning in a station wagon version.
- Note that in the combustion engine range, Audi has announced the launch of the so-called “Sportback” coupe version of its Q5 (D-segment SUV).
