Inovev forecasts 75,000 units per year for the new Skoda Epiq
The Skoda brand (a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group) continues to expand its range of electric cars downwards. After the launch of the D-segment Enyaq (4.65 m long) in 2021 and the C-segment Elroq (4.49 m long) in 2024, here comes the B-segment Epiq (4.17 m long) in 2026.

The Skoda Epiq is one of four small B-segment electric cars launched by the Volkswagen Group in 2026 and produced in Spain, namely the Volkswagen ID Polo, the Volkswagen ID Cross, the Cupra Raval and the Skoda Epiq.

All four are based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB+ platform, specifically designed for B-segment electric vehicles. Given its positioning and price (from €26,470 to €39,050 depending on the version) , the Skoda Epiq could sell an average of 75,000 units per year until 2030 (the C-segment Elroq sold 87,960 units in 2025) and more than 100,000 units per year after 2030. It will primarily compete with the Renault 4 E-Tech and Kia EV2.

The Skoda Elroq is powered by an electric motor offered in three power levels: a 116 hp (85 kW) version coupled with a 37 kWh LFP battery, a 135 hp (99 kWh) version coupled with the same 37 kWh LFP battery and a 211 hp (155 kWh) version coupled with a 52 kWh NMC battery.

The two least powerful versions offer a range of 310 km, while the most powerful boasts a range of 440 km. The Skoda Epiq will be produced at the Pamplona plant in Spain, alongside the Volkswagen ID. Cross.
