Jaguar I-Pace
- Jaguar introduces the new i-Pace SUV, its first 100% electric model. Directly competing with the Tesla Model 3, the i-Pace is more like a raised four-door sedan than a real SUV.
- This model will be manufactured at Magna-Steyr in Graz, Austria, at a rate of 20,000 units per year.
- Jaguar said the US would be the first outlet for this vehicle (California being a major market for electric cars), but that China and Europe would also be targeted markets.
-The Jaguar i-Pace (480km range) uses a new platform that will serve as a basis for future electric models of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands.
