The Peugeot Product Plan (2020-2023)
The Peugeot 2020-2023 product plan has been made public. After a very successful year in 2019 (208, 2008), in 2020 the Sochaux manufacturer should not only launch the 100% electric versions of the 208 and 2008, but also the hybrid versions of the 508 and 3008. Peugeot therefore targets electric on B-segment models and hybrid on upper-segment models. Like Renault, Peugeot is therefore opting out of the C-segment electric sedan, while Volkswagen will be marketing its C-segment electric sedan, the ID3, in the coming weeks.

A restyling of the 3008 and 5008 is also expected by 2020, as well as a 100% electric version of the Expert utility vehicle.

In 2021, a small SUV called 1008 could replace the Peugeot 108 that will be retired that year. This new model could have a 100% electric version, like the Partner. But 2021 will be above all the year of the launch of the Peugeot 308 III.

In 2022, the 508 will be restyled and a crossover derived from the 308 will be launched. This model could be like what the Audi City Carver is to the Audi A1, in order to avoid any cannibalism with the Peugeot 3008 SUV.

In 2023, the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 will be replaced by a brand new generation and will try to build on the success of the previous generation. The manufacturer should also restyle the 2008 (it will take another year for the 208). Finally, and more interestingly, Peugeot plans to launch new C and D segment SUVs in 2023, called 4008 and 6008, in order to expand the range upwards and enter the American market after 40 years of absence.
