The DS Product Plan for 2021-2026
The DS brand (Stellantis group) has communicated its product plan until 2026. Used to be the only Premium brand of the PSA group, DS has seen now other brands enter its market following the merger with FCA (Fiat-Chrysler), such as Alfa-Romeo or Lancia.

The main challenge for DS will therefore be to clearly differentiate itself from these two Italian brands which have joined the Stellantis group. Alfa-Romeo is more oriented "sporty" (as BMW) while Lancia will target more luxury (as Mercedes). From 2024, all DS models that will go into production will be 100% electric.

The current renewal program is focused on the imminent launch (fall 2021) of the DS 4 which will be in the carmaker's range between the DS 3 Crossback(B-segment B) and the DS 7 Crossback(C-segment). This model will be available in a 100% electric version from 2024.

In 2022, the DS 7 Crossback(C-segment) will be facelifted, one year before the facelift of the DS 3 Crossback.

In 2023, the new STLA Medium platforms will appear, which will be launched by the new generations of the Peugeot 3008 and 5008. It is therefore on these platforms that the future DS 7 Crossback and DS 8 Crossback will be designed. These two top-of-the-range models will be launched in 2025 and 2026 respectively, with a 100% electric engine.

2026 should also see the renewal of the DS 3 Crossbackand the launch of a C-segment coupe SUV inspired by the Aero Sport Lounge concept car. A seven-seater SUV (code P95) is also under consideration. These three vehicles will adopt a 100% electric motorisation.
