The Nissan Qashqai remains the most produced car in the UK in 2025
Based on production figures calculated for the first 11 months of 2025, Inovev estimated the production volume of each model worldwide for the entire year. Here is the Top 20 by model (passenger cars + light utility vehicles) for the United Kingdom, which produced 780 000 vehicles last year, a 13% decrease compared to 2024, due to the closure of the Luton plant (Stellantis) in the first half of the year and the Jaguar plant in the second half.

The Nissan Qashqai (C-segment SUV) remains the most produced car in the UK in 2025, with 173,037 units produced (official figures), ahead of the Mini One (B-segment hatchback), the Nissan Juke (B-segment SUV), and the Toyota Corolla (C-segment hatchback). Japanese carmakers therefore still hold a significant share of UK production (48% of British production in 2025), despite Honda's departure in 2021.

Next come the five Land Rover SUVs (Range Rover Sport, Range Rover, Range Evoque, Range Velar, Discovery Sport) which precede the Jaguar F-Pace SUV and the Stellantis group's light utility vehicles, those produced at the Luton site until March 2025 and those produced at the Ellesmere Port site until December 2025. After March 2025, the LUVs that were produced at Luton are produced at the Hordain site in France.

Jaguar sedans, as well as the F-Type coupe and convertible, were discontinued at the end of 2024. But a small part of British production remains dedicated to luxury cars, such as Aston Martin, Bentley, or Rolls-Royce.
