Leapmotor B03 X
- Leapmotor, specializing in mid-range, all-electric vehicles, is a rapidly growing manufacturer in China, where it sold 300,482 vehicles in the first half of 2026 compared to 213,157 in the first half of 2025 (while the Chinese market as a whole declined by 24.3%), and in Europe, where it sold 56,005 vehicles in the first half of 2026 compared to 8,507 in the first half of 2025 (while the European market as a whole grew by 6.1%). Leapmotor, in which Stellantis holds a small stake (approximately 20%), is unveiling its all-electric B-segment compact SUV, the B03X, which is 4.27 meters long, the same size as a Peugeot e-2008. The Chinese model, equipped with a choice of a 40 kWh or 53 kWh LFP battery, can achieve a range of 300 km with the first battery and 400 km with the second battery, which could be a deterrent to purchase for some customers who would prefer to postpone their purchase to the Peugeot e-2008, admittedly a little more expensive but with a slightly greater range.

- The base price of the Leapmotor B03X starts at 23,400 euros, which is about 10,000 euros less than the Peugeot e-2008.
