Inovev predicts production per year at 100 000 for Renault Koleos
- While in China, Renault has been marketing its segment D SUV, the Koléos, since November 2016 (it sold 27,000 units on the Chinese market since then), the French manufacturer began its marketing six months later in Europe.
- There have been 1,100 units sold on this market since that date.
- In China, the Koleos sells twice as much as the Kadjar but in Europe the Kadjar belongs to the C segment SUVs, where there is more volume than the D segment.
- The Koléos (length: 4.67m) is based on its CMF-C / D platform, also used by the Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Qashqai, Nissan Rogue, Renault Espace, Renault Talisman, Renault Scénic and Renault Mégane.
- Its engines are two in number: a diesel 1.6 /130hp and a diesel 2.0 /175hp.
- Inovev expects 25,000 sales of Koleos in Europe and 75,000 in China. While China is supplied by the Renault-Dongfeng factory in Wuhan, Europe is supplied by the Renault-Samsung plant in Busan (Korea). In Korea, the Koleos has been sold under the name Renault-Samsung QM6 since May 2016 (26,000 sales since that date, an average of 30,000 sales a year, considering sales over the last six months).
