The FCA 2020-2023 product plan for North America
- For the North American markets, the Fiat-Chrysler group favours the Jeep brand, which has become the most widely used brand of the Italian-American manufacturer since last year.
- The Jeep SUV brand will replace the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee in 2021 and the Renegade in 2022. This latter should still be made in Italy.
- Two models will be added to the already well-supplied Jeep range. These are the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, which should appear in 2021. These two models will be at the top of the Jeep range, aiming to compete with the Range Rover, Mercedes GLS and BMW X7 i.
- At Chrysler, we note that the 300 sedan will not be replaced, which means that this once prestigious brand will focus solely on the Voyager and Pacifica minivans. Voyager (simplified version of the Pacifica) will attempt to take over the Dodge Caravan clientele, which should be the last minivan sold under the Dodge brand.
- Unlike the Chrysler 300, it looks like Dodge is planning to replace its Charger sedan and Challenger coupe in 2023. But there are no 100% electric versions on the horizon.
- It should be noted that the Ram pickup truck should be renewed in 2022, two years after the restyling of its competitors, the Ford F-Series and Chevrolet Silverado.
