Inovev forecasts 100,000 units per year for the new Fiat Grizzly
- Fiat has unveiled its new Grizzly model, a 4.40m long SUV (bordering the B and C segments) available in two different body styles: a 5-seater coupe SUV and a 7-seater station wagon SUV. The Fiat Grizzly is based on the Grande Panda, sharing its Smart Car platform (already used on the Citroën C3, Citroën C3 Aircross, and Opel Frontera) as well as its 1.2-liter 100hp (74kW) petrol engine , 1.2-liter 145hp (107kW) hybrid engine , and 156hp (115kW) all-electric engine.

- The 7-seater Grizzly can be considered Fiat's version of the Citroën C3 Aircross and Opel Frontera, while the 5-seater coupé version is unique, as it is not available in Europe from either Citroën or Opel. However, the Citroën Basalt, sold in India and South America, is very similar.

- As presented, the Fiat Grizzly, which will be entirely produced in Morocco (in the Stellantis factory in Kenitra) at an annual rate of 100,000 units per year according to Inovev , will succeed the Fiat Tipo in Europe in all its versions (except in Turkey) while also taking on the Dacia Duster and Dacia Bigster, which seems to be the preferred target of the new Fiat.

- Indeed, the Fiat Grizzly will be sold at prices close to those of Dacia SUVs, namely 22,000 euros for the petrol version, 25,000 euros for the hybrid version and 28,000 euros for the electric version.

- With the Grizzly, Fiat completes and expands its range upwards at little cost (thanks to the sharing of components), while abandoning the idea of only selling Pandas, 500s and 600s in Europe.
