- Over the first ten months of 2012, global vehicle registrations (PC + LUV) grew by 5.5% in comparison with the first ten months of 2011:

-Passenger cars (PC) rose by 6.8%

-Light commercial vehicles (LUV) rose by 1.9%

- Geography of markets:

•PC: all markets rise except Europe, Turkey and Korea

•LUV: all markets rise except Europe, Turkey and Korea but also China and Brazil

- It is to be noted that in 2011, global vehicle registrations increased by 4.6% (in comparison with the twelve months of 2010), despite the terrible tsunami in Japan and severe flooding in Thailand.
