- The Renault Zoe does not yet respond to the marketing objectives the direction of the carmaker provided shortly before the launch of the model
- Therefore Inovev has updated its production forecasts between July 2011 and July 2013, in order to meet the current declining production.
- The forecasts made in July 2011 took into account: 1 / the initial announcements made by Renault that planed to sell 150 000 in the long term (2017-2018), 2 / heavy investments and production capacity in Flins set at 150 000 units per year, 3 / the very competitive price of the model compared to a combustion engine model from segment B.
- The forecast made in July 2012were adjusted downward based on various elements of appreciation (such as the order status), which led to more caution and a slower take off of the model.
- Forecasts from July 2013reflect this time the sales of the model on its first marketing year. They have been revised downwards due to a much weaker demand than expected, the lack of charging stations and lower sales forecasts announced by Renault .
- Sales of the model sold in Europe alone may not exceed 10 000 units throughout the year 2013.
