Inovev lowers its forecast for the Renault Zoe

The Renault Zoe does not yet respond to the marketing objectives the direction of the carmaker provided shortly before the launch of the model

Therefore Inovev has updated its production forecasts between July 2011 and July 2013, in order to meet the current declining production.

The forecasts made in July 2011 took into account: 1 / the initial announcements made by Renault that planed to sell 150 000 in the long term (2017-2018), 2 / heavy investments and production capacity in Flins set at 150 000 units per year, 3 / the very competitive price of the model compared to a combustion engine model from segment B.

The forecast made in July 2012were adjusted downward based on various elements of appreciation (such as the order status), which led to more caution and a slower take off of the model.

Forecasts from July 2013reflect this time the sales of the model on its first marketing year. They have been revised downwards due to a much weaker demand than expected, the lack of charging stations and lower sales forecasts announced by Renault .

- Sales of the model sold in Europe alone may not exceed 10 000 units throughout the year 2013.
