- Chinese exports exceeded one million vehicles in 2012 (1 013 235 PC + LCV).
- These vehicles were primarily intended for:
1. African countries (Algeria: 149 760, Egypt 34 531, South Africa 19 265, Angola 9 570, Nigeria: 8 760)
2. South America (Chile 62 640, Peru: 37 174, Venezuela: 32 781, Colombia 31 309, Brazil 21 423, Uruguay: 16 017, Ecuador: 13 773)
3. Middle East countries (Iraq: 90 057, Iran 77 728, Saudi Arabia: 27 994)
4. European countries (Russia 89 628, Ukraine: 30 544, Kazakhstan: 13 373 Germany: 11 448)
5. Countries of South East Asia (Vietnam: 14 148, Burma: 13 228, Sri Lanka: 8 710 Philippines: 7 517 Thailand: 7 249, Malaysia: 6 974).
- If we add North Korea (11 412) and Australia (12 492), they are 27 countries in the world that represent 860 000 vehicles exported from China, i.e. 85% of the country's total exports.
