Jaguar confirms the launch of 2 new SUV in 2018
Jaguar (a subsidiary of the Indian group Tata Motors, along with Land Rover) has confirmed that it will market two new SUVs next year, the first with a thermal engine (E-Pace) and the second with an electric motor (I-Pace ). These two models will complete the OEM’s SUV range, which currently includes the F-Pace.

- The F-Pace, which became the most sold model at Jaguar in 2016 (66,000 sales), is an E-segment SUV based on the XF sedan platform (40,000 sales in 2016). It is produced on the Land Rover site in Solihull (United Kingdom).

- The future E-Pace will be a D-segment SUV based on the platform of the XE sedan (48,000 sales in 2016). It could also be produced on the Solihull site. Inovev expects 100,000 annual sales of E-Pace when it is to be marketed in China (60,000 to be produced in Europe and 40,000 in China).

- The future I-Pace will be a segment D SUV based on a new platform dedicated to electric vehicles. It could be produced on the Magna site in Graz (Austria), following the agreements signed between Jaguar Land Rover and Magna. Inovev expects 20,000 annual sales of I-Pace, when it will be marketed in China.

One has only to wait for the launch of the future XJ sedan in 2019 for the Jaguar range to be completely renewed. Inovev expects 25,000 annual sales of the future XJ (produced at the Castle Bromwich site in the UK).
