Infiniti 2020-2023 Product Plan for North America
The 2020-2023 product plan for the Infiniti brand (Nissan Group Premium brand) in the North American market focuses on SUVs, as it does for its Nissan parent company. Indeed, of the 7 models that Infiniti plans to launch during this period, 5 are SUVs and only 2 are sedans.

Of these 7 models, all will be completely renewed, even the big SUV QX70 (ex-FX35-45), the most emblematic model of the brand since it had launched the concept of SUV-coupe since 2008. This model was removed from the catalog in 2018 without descendants.

However, Infiniti will not replace the Q30 / QX30 sedans (C-segment) that were unsuccessful in the North American market.

Infiniti has sold a total of 150,000 cars in the US in 2018, which is two times less than Lexus, BMW or Mercedes but the brand intends to remain in North America, while it has just disappeared from the European market.

The year 2020 will see the launch of a coupe version of the SUV QX50 marketed since 2018. More and more manufacturers are releasing such versions coupe from their original SUV.

In 2021, Infiniti plans to renew its SUV QX60 which was its best sale in 2018.

The year 2022 will be rich in novelties, since Infiniti will renew the Q50 and Q70 sedans, whose origins date back to 2013, and will launch a new 100% electric SUV based on Nissan Leaf, a year after an equivalent model at Nissan.

In 2023, the big SUV QX70 and QX80 will be renewed. The QX70 will have waited for its replacement since 2018.
