Paris Motorshow 2022 - The French brands: Renault-Nissan
The Renault-Nissan group will display three battery electric concept cars (BEV) which will give birth in 2024 to the battery electrics Renault 4 (produced in Maubeuge), Renault 5 (produced in Douai) and Renault Scénic (produced in Douay). These three models will complete the range of battery electric cars from the diamond brand, such as the electric Renault Mégane e-tech and the electric Renault Kangoo, without forgetting the electric Trafic and electric Master utility vehicles.
We know that the Renault Zoéproduced in Flins will be discontinued in 2024, when the Renault 4 electric and Renault 5 electric will be launched. The Flinsplant will stop the vehicle assembly activity at this time.
These seven electric models (R4, R5, Megane e-tech, Scenic, Kangoo, Trafic, Master) are supposed to represent a production volume of 700,000 units in France in 2030 according to the carmaker.
The Renault-Nissan group will also exhibit a small urban vehicle, the Duo, under the Mobilize brand, which succeeds to the Renault Twizy, but in a slightly more robust and more habitable form.
The Renault-Nissan group will also exhibit the battery electric version of the Alpine A110 (E-ternity) which prefigures the sports coupe with electric motor to be launched in 2026, shortly after a compact SUV also battery electric.
Finally, the Renault-Nissan group will exhibit the facelifted Dacia range. This brand is experiencing an increasingly strong influence on the European market (4.3% market share in 2022 compared to 5% for Renault).
