Inovev forecasts 50,000 units per year for the new Cupra Raval
- Cupra (the Spanish subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group) has unveiled its new all-electric Raval model, a B-segment vehicle built on the MEB+ platform of the Volkswagen ID. Polo and ID. Cross. The Raval model (named after a district of Barcelona) completes Cupra's entry-level range , including the all-electric lineup below the C-segment Born and Tavascan.

- Its bodywork is sportier than that of Volkswagens, in keeping with the Cupra brand image, but it retains the dimensions of the ID Polo, namely 4.05 m long and 1.78 m wide. As a result, the Cupra Raval competes with the Alpine A290 rather than the Renault 5 E-Tech, Nissan Micra EV, or Volkswagen ID Polo.

- The Cupra Raval is one of four small, all-electric cars launched by the Volkswagen Group that will be produced in Spain, the other three being the Volkswagen ID. Polo, the Volkswagen ID. Cross, and the Skoda Epiq. But it will be the most expensive: between €35,000 and €45,000 depending on the version, significantly more than a Volkswagen ID. Polo or a Renault 5 E-Tech (€25,000). As a reminder, a Cupra Born, from the higher segment, is priced between €40,000 and €50,000 depending on the version.

- In line with this price, sales volumes for the Cupra Raval will be lower than those of the Volkswagen ID. Polo, Volkswagen ID. Cross, or Skoda Epiq, at 50,000 units per year between 2026 and 2030. The Cupra Raval will be produced in Martorell, alongside the Volkswagen ID. Polo. Both models will share the same batteries (37 kWh LFP and 52 kWh NMC) and the most powerful electric motors (155 kW, 166 kW). The manufacturer anticipates a range of 329 km for the model equipped with the LFP battery according to the WLTP cycle and a range of 455 km for the one with the NMC battery.
