PSA wants to sell 250,000 Peugeot 301 and Citroën C-Elysée in 2014
More "low cost" than the traditional  Peugeot and Citroën,  but less “low cost” than the Dacia Logan and Sandero, in particular in terms of price and equipment, Peugeot 301 and Citroën C-Elysée (quasi-identical cars customized by Peugeot and Citroën according to their image) will try to find new customers who do not buy cars from these two brands so far.

More specifically  targeted for emerging markets such as China, Brazil, North Africa and Russia, these two models could also be sold in Europe if demand is sufficient.
Peugeot aims for sales  of 150 000 units for the 301 in 2014:

75,000 in China, 20,000 in Brazil, 20,000 in North Africa, 10,000 in Russia and 25,000 in the rest of the world.
Citroën aims for sales of  100,000 units for the C-Elysée in 2014:
50,000
in China and 50,000 in the rest of the world.
It is to be noted that Renault will sell a million units of its entry-level range in 2013.
