Paris Motorshow 2026: Tesla Cybercab
- In addition to its Model 3 and Model Y, Tesla will present its 100% electric and 100% autonomous taxi, the Cybercab.

- The Cybercab is a two-seater GT, inspired by Tesla's 2008 Roadster, featuring two automatic gullwing doors without handles or side mirrors, a cockpit without a steering wheel or pedals, and a fastback rear with a hatchback opening and no rear window for luggage loading. The production vehicle design includes charging its battery via an inductive charging pad underneath the vehicle, with no visible external charging port.

- The Cybercab is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 47.6 kWh. This battery allows it to achieve nearly 670 km on the EPA test cycles, for an estimated real-world range of approximately 470 km.

- Its engine delivers the equivalent of 219 hp. Designed as a strict two-seater coupe, it has an unladen weight of 1,410 kg, while its payload is approximately 280 kg.

- Production of the Cybercab began in April 2026 at the Gigafactory in Austin, Texas. Tesla officially launched the Cybercab commercially on September 3, 2026, in Austin, where 45 vehicles are already in operation.

Paris Motorshow 2026: Lucid Cosmos
- Despite persistent rumors of financial difficulties, the Californian electric car brand Lucid is ramping up production and will soon unveil the Cosmos crossover (between 4.70 m and 4.75 m long) intended to democratize its range after prioritizing the high end with the Lucid Air sedan (4.98 m long) and the Gravity SUV (5.03 m long).

- The carmaker, which has sold 54,000 cars in four years ( Lucid production started in 2022) – while its competitor Tesla delivered nearly 8 million over the same period – will inaugurate a new generation of "Atlas" motors designed to maximize wheelbase thanks to their extreme miniaturization, while it will prioritize lightning-fast charging times (800V voltage) rather than a large battery capacity.

- Due to its dimensions, the Lucid Cosmos (a crossover between sedan and SUV) directly challenges the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y.

Paris Motorshow 2026: Inovev forecasts 140,000 units per year of the new Hyundai Tucson SUV (in Europe)
- Korean carmaker Hyundai has unveiled the new generation of its mid-range SUV (C segment), the Tucson , whose versions sold in Europe will still be produced in the Czech Republic, in Nosovice , like previous generations.

- The new generation stands out even more from the competition (Renault Austral, Peugeot 3008, Opel Grandland , Citroën C5 Aircross , Kia Sportage , Toyota RAV4, Volkswagen Tiguan, Nissan Qashqai) thanks to its design compared to previous generations. It draws inspiration from the style of the large Santa Fe SUV, a boxy and robust design. It is 6 cm longer than the previous model (4.70 m).

- The new Hyundai Tucson will be powered by 1.6-liter hybrid (F-HEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) gasoline engines, but diesel engines will not be offered. There will be no fully electric version of the new Tucson. For that type of powertrain, you will need to look at the Hyundai Ioniq.

- Therefore, despite the Hyundai Tucson's popularity in Europe (133,000 sales in Europe in 2025 and 70,000 in the first six months of 2026), the new Tucson will have to contend with the massive development of all-electric SUVs from other brands in Europe throughout its expected five- to six-year lifespan, which should put it at a disadvantage starting in the next two or three years. In this context, the new Hyundai Tucson is expected to see its sales decline from 148,000 units in 2027 to 142,000 in 2028, 129,000 in 2029, and 122,000 in 2030.

- The new Hyundai Tucson will also have to contend with the arrival of the future Kia Sportage, its main competitor.

Paris Motorshow 2026: Inovev forecasts 200,000 units per year of the new Kia Seltos
- Seltos (available in gasoline and mild-hybrid versions) at the Paris Motor Show . Produced in Korea but imported to Europe, the Seltos is a global model, and Kia has chosen to concentrate its production in its Asian plants. Global production began in India in late 2025, then expanded to Korea and China in 2026, but Seltos destined for Europe are produced in Korea.

- Kia is reserving its Žilina plant in Slovakia primarily for models specifically intended for the European market, particularly electric vehicles. Kia states that Žilina is its main European production base. Korea already has the production lines, suppliers, and expertise needed for the Seltos. Therefore, it is more economically straightforward for Kia to export the model from Korea than to create or adapt a European production line for a relatively limited volume.

- The Kia Seltos sold in Europe is primarily available with a petrol hybrid engine: 1.6 T- Hybrid 154 hp or 178 hp — 1.6 L turbo petrol engine + electric motor.

- The Kia Seltos – particularly well positioned – could reach 200,000 units produced per year.

Paris Motorshow 2026: Inovev forecasts 50,000 units of the Hyundai Ioniq 3 per year
- The new Hyundai Ioniq 3 will make its first public appearance at the 2026 Paris Motor Show . This is the fifth model of the Ioniq sub-brand dedicated to 100% electric vehicles, after the Ioniq itself (2015-2022), the Ioniq 5 (2021), the Ioniq 6 (2022) and the Ioniq 9 (2024).

- The Ioniq 3 (2026) declines the formula downwards, with a B segment vehicle (such as the VW ID Polo, VW ID Cross, Cupra Raval, Skoda Epiq , Renault 5 E-Tech, Nissan Micra e, Peugeot e-208, Opel e-Corsa, Fiat Grande Panda e, Lancia Ypsilon e), the other Ioniq models currently existing being more from D/E segments.

- We note that there is now a lack of a core C-segment model among the Ioniq range; it should be launched in 2027 or 2028, under the name Ioniq 4, in perfect harmony with the Kia EV4.

- The Ioniq 3 is a 4.16-meter-long crossover (part sedan, part SUV) similar to the VW ID. Cross, and will be assembled at Hyundai's Izmit plant in Turkey, replacing the Hyundai i10, which was discontinued last year. It is the first all-electric vehicle produced by Hyundai at this factory. It is also the first Ioniq produced in Europe.

- However, it will have to compete with the Hyundai Kona Electric, which is in the same category.

- Inovev forecasts 50,000 units per year of the Hyundai Ioniq 3.
