Paris Motorshow 2024: other new features from the Renault group
Dacia Bigster: the Dacia Bigster will be a long wheelbased version of the Dacia Duster as it will measure nearly 4.60 m compared to 4.34 m for the Duster. It will thus be the first model of the brand to nearly be positioned in the D-segment SUVs while the Duster is more of a C-segment SUV. The Bigster based on the same CMF-B platform as the Duster takes up the idea of the long version currently marketed such as the Peugeot 5008 (extension of the Peugeot 3008) or Renault Espace (extension of the Renault Austral). The Bigster could receive a new 1.8 hybrid instead of the 1.6 hybrid available on the Duster. The production volume of the Bigster could reach 50,000 units per year at the Romanian site in Pitesti.

Alpine A290: the sports version of the new Renault 5 E-Tech is presented at the 2024 Paris Motor Show under the Alpine brand. This is therefore the brand's first battery electric model, which comes a few months ahead of the launch of the future battery electric Alpine SUVs and Alpine coupes planned for 2025-2026. This model with a power of 180 hp or 220 hp depending on the engine will be sold at a price of 38,700 euros for the basic version. The Alpine A290 will be assembled at the Dieppe site alongside the A110 coupe. A volume of 5,000 units per year is a realistic forecast.

Renault 4 E-Tech: the Renault 4 E-Tech will be a compact SUV slightly longer than the Renault 5 E-Tech sedan (4.16 m compared to 3.92 m), from which it will take the CMF-B platform and engine. It will be a little more expensive than the Renault 5 E-Tech and will be produced in Maubeuge and not in Douai, at 400,000 units between 2024 and 2030, representing an average yearly volume of 56,000 units.
