Inovev forecasts 75,000 units per year for the new Skoda Epiq
- The Skoda brand (a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group) continues to expand its range of electric cars downwards. After the launch of the D-segment Enyaq (4.65 m long) in 2021 and the C-segment Elroq (4.49 m long) in 2024, here comes the B-segment Epiq (4.17 m long) in 2026.
- The Skoda Epiq is one of four small B-segment electric cars launched by the Volkswagen Group in 2026 and produced in Spain, namely the Volkswagen ID Polo, the Volkswagen ID Cross, the Cupra Raval and the Skoda Epiq.
- All four are based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB+ platform, specifically designed for B-segment electric vehicles. Given its positioning and price (from €26,470 to €39,050 depending on the version) , the Skoda Epiq could sell an average of 75,000 units per year until 2030 (the C-segment Elroq sold 87,960 units in 2025) and more than 100,000 units per year after 2030. It will primarily compete with the Renault 4 E-Tech and Kia EV2.
- The Skoda Elroq is powered by an electric motor offered in three power levels: a 116 hp (85 kW) version coupled with a 37 kWh LFP battery, a 135 hp (99 kWh) version coupled with the same 37 kWh LFP battery and a 211 hp (155 kWh) version coupled with a 52 kWh NMC battery.
- The two least powerful versions offer a range of 310 km, while the most powerful boasts a range of 440 km. The Skoda Epiq will be produced at the Pamplona plant in Spain, alongside the Volkswagen ID. Cross.
Inovev forecasts 50,000 units per year for the new Mercedes C-Class Electric
- 说明
Inovev forecasts 50,000 units per year for the new Mercedes C-Class Electric
- Mercedes has unveiled its new all-electric D-segment sedan, the C-Class Electric. The manufacturer has scrapped the EQC name initially planned for this model, as the EQ designations apparently failed to attract customers. The EQB SUV suffered the same fate, ultimately being named the GLB Electric. Similarly, the SUV replacing the EQC is now called the GLC Electric. Finally, the replacement for the EQV minivan is called the VLE. It is therefore expected that the EQE and EQS will soon be replaced by new E-Class and S-Class Electric models.
- The new Mercedes C-Class Electric sedan, based on the MB.EA platform of the GLC Electric, differs from the combustion engine version that will continue to exist alongside it for a few years. It will directly compete with the recently launched BMW i3 electric sedan in the D segment. It will also rival the Mercedes CLA Electric, launched last year. Fifteen centimeters separate the two Mercedes electric sedans, with the CLA measuring 4.73 m while the C-Class Electric reaches 4.88 m (13 cm longer than the combustion engine C-Class).
- The C-Class Electric features a 272 hp (200 kW) motor, like the electric CLA, but with an 800V architecture. A second version is also available with two motors producing a combined 354 hp (260 kW). Consequently, it has a larger battery than the CLA, at 94 kWh instead of 85 kWh. The manufacturer estimates a range of over 750 km according to the WLTP cycle.
- The Mercedes C-Class Electric will be produced at the Bremen site, at a rate of up to 50,000 units in 2030. It could also be produced in China for local demand.
Inovev forecasts 100,000 units per year for the new Fiat Grizzly
- 说明
Inovev forecasts 100,000 units per year for the new Fiat Grizzly
- Fiat has unveiled its new Grizzly model, a 4.40m long SUV (bordering the B and C segments) available in two different body styles: a 5-seater coupe SUV and a 7-seater station wagon SUV. The Fiat Grizzly is based on the Grande Panda, sharing its Smart Car platform (already used on the Citroën C3, Citroën C3 Aircross, and Opel Frontera) as well as its 1.2-liter 100hp (74kW) petrol engine , 1.2-liter 145hp (107kW) hybrid engine , and 156hp (115kW) all-electric engine.
- The 7-seater Grizzly can be considered Fiat's version of the Citroën C3 Aircross and Opel Frontera, while the 5-seater coupé version is unique, as it is not available in Europe from either Citroën or Opel. However, the Citroën Basalt, sold in India and South America, is very similar.
- As presented, the Fiat Grizzly, which will be entirely produced in Morocco (in the Stellantis factory in Kenitra) at an annual rate of 100,000 units per year according to Inovev , will succeed the Fiat Tipo in Europe in all its versions (except in Turkey) while also taking on the Dacia Duster and Dacia Bigster, which seems to be the preferred target of the new Fiat.
- Indeed, the Fiat Grizzly will be sold at prices close to those of Dacia SUVs, namely 22,000 euros for the petrol version, 25,000 euros for the hybrid version and 28,000 euros for the electric version.
- With the Grizzly, Fiat completes and expands its range upwards at little cost (thanks to the sharing of components), while abandoning the idea of only selling Pandas, 500s and 600s in Europe.
Inovev forecasts 75,000 units per year for the new VW ID Polo
- 说明
Inovev forecasts 75,000 units per year for the new VW ID Polo
- Volkswagen has unveiled its new all-electric B-segment hatchback, initially slated to be called the ID.2, but ultimately named the ID. Polo. The rather impersonal names ID.3, ID.4, and ID.5 don't seem to have been very successful, while the ID. Polo name immediately evokes the Polo, positioning it as the direct successor to the internal combustion engine Volkswagen Polo. The ID. Polo's design also returns to the fundamentals of the Volkswagen brand, as the very geometric design of the ID.3, ID.4, and ID.5, lacking any reference to the brand's heritage, may have alienated some potential customers.
- The new Volkswagen ID. Polo, positioned as a direct rival to the Renault 5 E-Tech, Peugeot e-208, Opel e-Corsa, Citroën e-C3 , Fiat Grande Panda EV, and even the Cupra Raval, measures 4.05 meters long, 2 cm shorter than the combustion engine version, which remains in production (likely until 2030). The ID. Polo will be manufactured at the Martorell plant in Spain at an annual rate of 75,000 units, according to Inovev, while the combustion engine version has been manufactured in South Africa since last year (and exported to Europe). Production volume is not expected to be higher, as the ID. Polo, based on the MEB+ platform, will face competition from two other VW models: the ID. Cross (the SUV version of the ID. Polo) and the ID. Lupo (an A-segment hatchback), which will take away some of its customers.
- Two battery options are available for the ID. Polo: a 37 kWh LFP and a 52 kWh NMC, while the electric motor offers four power levels (85 kW, 99 kW, 155 kW, 166 kW). The manufacturer estimates a range of 329 km for the model equipped with the LFP battery according to the WLTP cycle and a range of 455 km for the one with the NMC battery.
Inovev forecasts 25,000 units per year for the new Nissan Juke

Inovev forecasts 25,000 units per year for the new Nissan Juke
- Japanese automaker Nissan has unveiled the next generation of its B-segment SUV, the Juke, but until further notice, this model will only be available as a fully electric vehicle. It is therefore expected to coexist with the combustion engine version (launched in 2019) for several more years.
- The new Nissan Juke, which still features a divisive design as it has since its first generation, is based on the CMF-EV platform shared with Renault, already known on the Renault Mégane E-Tech and Scénic E-Tech, as well as the Nissan Leaf and Ariya .
- The technical specifications of the new Juke are not yet known, given that this model presented in advance (due to the current difficulties of the Nissan group) will not be marketed until 2027, but it seems that the new generation will be about ten centimeters longer for better interior space (the current Juke does not exceed 4.21 m).
- The new generation of the Nissan Juke will be produced alongside the old generation at the British site in Sunderland, in the north of England.
- The new Nissan Juke electric will attempt to attract public attention once again to the entire Juke range, whose production volume fell from 150,000 units in 2012 to 100,000 units in 2017 and then to 50,000 in 2019, before rising again in 2020 to 70,000 units thanks to the new generation launched in 2019. This second generation was less successful than the first, as it did not exceed 100,000 units produced for three consecutive years, in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
