Geneva Motorshow 2017: Lexus LS 500h

- The new generation of the large Lexus LS sedan (F segment) replaces the model launched in 2006.

- The style of the car changes completely, moving from a classic line to a sporty hatchback. This model will attempt to take customers from the Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Audi A8, Jaguar XJ, and even the recent Hyundai-Kia Genesis.

- The LS hybrid version will be presented in Geneva.

Geneva Motorshow 2017: Jeep Compass

- Fiat-Chrysler’s new Jeep Compass is part of the Jeep range between the Renegade (B segment) and the Cherokee (D segment).

- The new Compass is therefore positioned on the C segment, in direct competition with the Nissan Qashqai, Renault Kadjar, Ford Kuga, Peugeot 3008, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage and VW Tiguan.

Geneva Motorshow 2017: Citroën C3 Aircross and DS 7 Crossback

- PSA’s new Citroen C3 Aircross is the successor to the Citroen C3 Picasso which was launched in 2009. The new C3 Aircrossis more of a SUV than the old C3 Picasso, as SUVs are currently more popular than Minivans.

- The new model shares its platform and engines with the new Opel Crossland which will also be presented at the Geneva Motor Show.

- The DS 7 Crossback will be the first SUV sold in Europe by DS (a subsidiary of the PSA group). Given the growing success of SUVs around the world, the DS 7 Crossback should get good market response . This model will utilisethe platform and the engines of the recent Peugeot 3008 and 5008.

- The DS 7 Crossback is the first step of the complete renewal of the DS range.

- This model will be produced in France and China.

Geneva Motorshow 2017: Kia Stinger and Kia Picanto

- The new Stinger is part of the Kia range as an even more powerful version of the Optima (D segment), with which the Stinger shares some components.

-,It is a large sedan , aiming to compete with premium E-segment cars, such as the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E-Class, Audi A6 and Jaguar XF

- The new generation of the Kia Picanto replaces the model launched in 2011. This small segment A sedan shares its platform and its engines with the Hyundai i10 , which is part of the same Korean group.

- In the Kia product range, the Picantois located below the Rio or K2 in Korea (B segment) and Cee'd or K3 in Korea (C segment)

Geneva Motorshow 2017: Ford Fiesta

- The new generation of the Ford Fiesta (B segment) replaces the previous model which was launched in 2008 and has had a particularly long life cycle (9 years). Nevertheless, the new Fiesta will use the same platform as the old Fiesta, as Opel did for its recent Corsa.

- The Fiesta is in the Ford Europe range between the KA + (segment A) and the Focus (segment C)
